Holes are in the roof, between the roof and walls of the house, in my shirts, pants, and shoes, my back pack, the door to the house, under the door, in the floor where the ants crawl through, everywhere!
I guess I use to feel comfortable when I knew I was in a place sealed off from the outside world, unless I was camping with family or friends, then it is inevitable or impossible to seal yourself off from the outdoors. I have learned to become accustomed with the holes in my life. Sometimes holes can be good and sometimes they can lead to disasters! Usually we aim for the good things in life, but hey that is not always the case, right?!
Have you ever thought of the fact that our body is full of holes?! Not only pores, but small spaces between atoms. Yup, we are really just a bunch of tightly bonded atoms that have formed a solid object. If you have ever studied chemistry and physics you would have learned that atoms can move around or can obtain different speeds in different temperatures. For example: water molecules (H2O). When frozen, the molecules are in a stable environment and do not contain a high kinetic energy thus forming a solid state what we know as ice. When heated, water molecules are able to increase their kinetic energy thus are able to move freely about Ina liquid state what we know as water. Revisit the atoms of our body. Scientists have discussed the possibilities of being able to change the ability of our atoms to move at speeds which would enable us to walk through walls!
Ok, back to reality, lol. The truth is, sometimes we have voids in our life that we want to fill. Yes I will say a void is representative of a hole in this instance. For whatever reason, ideas, feelings, emotions, and people enter and leave our lives. When these things or people leave, a void can be created leaving us with mixed feelings or the need to fill that void promptly. Sometimes it is a hard thing to do and other times it is best to leave that void be because bad things or people have left. From here we have the opportunity to fill this emptiness with the good things in life i.e. chocolate !
Be true to yourself and fill those hoyos!
Sometimes holes are permanent but for the most part you have the strength to fill them.
As for me...I will continue dealing with the holes in the roof and make friends with the ants that explore their way into my house through the holes in the floor.
Never be who you are not!
